This house, located in the Enatai neighborhood area of Bellevue, consists of approximately 4,850 SF spread over three levels (including an 800 SF finished attic). A key design strategy used in this house was to utilize a fairly simple rectangular, stacked form as well as attic trusses to allow for the maximum amount of building area at a reasonable construction price. It is a strategy that I will look to utilize in future projects, as the savings in foundation, framing labor and material costs to date have been significant.
